Ryan & Becca share some updates about their lively week together before getting to some listener questions and finally the topic for today: building partnerships with companies. There's no copy and paste message you can send out to the companies you'd like to partner with, but you can certainly be yourself and share how you'd make a great person to talk about their products. - Hello, love the podcast and have been listening since the beginning! This is my first question on the show. SO, I was vending a show this past weekend and dealt with a very rude, disrespectful person which was unfortunately one of the other vendors. I've had unpleasant customers before but this was another level especially since it was a vendor. Since then I've been thinking about it and wish I had handled it differently... I was very passive/defensive but wish I went on the offense a bit more. So the question is how do you deal with a toxic person at an event? Thank you! @earthengoat

My second guest in this series is Steve Barclay. We met in a nightclub in Benidorm, we were performing not clubbing. Steve tells all about his experience out there as well as his extensive time in theatre working with his favourite people including the late and great Sir Ken Dodd who was also a brother Rat.

Sean Rollason known as ROLLO to many was my first dressing room and digs buddy in Pantomime, it was during my first panto and days after it ending we flew off to Benidorm to open in a Nightclub performing our acts to stag and hen parties amongst Blue comics and strippers. If you think that was a contrast then you'll love the next hour or so.

Sean got the circus bug and his knowledge and talent outshine many as he talks us through his experiences in the business from Death defying elephant stunts to performing Pantomime in a Pandemic. His relationship with his son and daughter Tommy J & Lucy is a wonderful thing, he is the supportive father as Michelle is the supportive mother but they are all clearly best friends too. They are great great people.

Tommy J is one versatile performer, he can adapt and everything he does ends up in making his audience smile and the passion in his work shows this. The experience comes from his growing up in the business surrounded by a dance school via his mum, and Circuses and Pantomime as well as The Grand Order of Water Rats via his father ROLLO aka the wonderful Sean Rollason.

Lucy Rollason was born into showbusiness and she is a natural in everything she puts her heart into whether she is choreographing dance, teaching dance, performing in Pantomime or working in a comedy act with her one man circus of a brother Tommy J.
Lucy is a Lady Rattling which is a Grand Order related to The Water Rats so Lucy & I have crossed paths through that as well as countless variety shows over the years and she knows her stuff, I mean she has been watching my act since she was two in back in 1999 when I worked with her dad in Benidorm. Her mum owns a dance school and the whole family are just not only funny and talented they are a lovely family too, It's a brighter business with them in.
