The Locker Room - S2 Ep 18 | Untold "Malice at the Palace"
The conversation began with EJ and MH thoughts on the âUntoldâ itself. MH gave his opinioned on the hype of the Indiana Pacers in the documentary that didnât match what reality was. EJ chimed in on the fans featured on the documentary and the infamous referee Tim Donaghy. From there, who was the real culprit and instigator of the incident. The fellas nominated several individuals, Ron Artest, Ben Wallace, Jamaal Tinsley, Fan or John Green. Former NBA Commissioner David Stern had to hand down discipline for the incident and it was significant. MH went into detail about what suspensions and fines to both the Pacers and the Pistons cost the players. Then the aftermath, they discussed the immediate media reaction and the repeated use of the code word âThugâ and itâs code meaning when describing the incident and the NBA.
Lastly, the where are they now? EJ hit on some of the major projects former Pacer Jermaine OâNeal currently oversees as well as ex teammate Stephen Jackson and his project âAll the Smoke.â
Ultimately, who do you think started the fight? How would this incident play out in 2021? Let us know. Tune in!
