Cherien talks about the haters, and the supporters, in the industry and how she has navigated it all. She also gets personal about her queer identity and how that played a role in her work and life. The three discussed her films Amreeka and May in the Summer, the TV shows she's worked on, such as the original L Word, and Ramy, the latest violence by Israel and the subsequent online activism for Palestine.
