    K
athleen Inman is a return guest. We visited Kathleen at Inman Family in Sonoma in 2020 - in the middle of the chaos of Covid-19, wildfires in the area and harvest. She was kind enough to spend time with us for a visit which we featured on Ep 39.

We wanted to revisit with Kathleen and her wines to talk more in depth about the sustainability efforts she has made as she has been a leader in sustainability since starting her winery. She tells us why it's so important to her and describes the many things she's done, including making her winery 100% solar powered, and more as we taste through some of her wines.

Inman Family wines are not only sustainable they are food-friendly, low alcohol, and naturally made -- yup, all those things we talked about in our fitting wine into your lifestyle series!! Listen today to learn more!

Wines To Find, Ep 120: En Route and Post & Beam Winemaker Michael Accurso

Wines To Find, Ep 120: En Route and Post & Beam Winemaker Michael Accurso

Wines: 2019 EnRoute Pinor Noir and 2019 Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon
    Guest: Michael Accurso

We are always thrilled to have the opportunity to speak to a winemaker and this conversation was thoroughly enjoyable. Michael Accurso spent years in the Anderson and Russian River Valleys making Pinot Noir, culminating in his position as Winemaker for EnRoute and he was also recently tapped by Far Niente to head up the winemaking for their latest offering, Post & Beam.

Michael shared some of his vast knowledge with us as we discussed how the Far Niente family of wines manages to consistently produce high quality wines on the level they do. They produce wines under the Far Niente, Dolce, Nickel & Nickel, EnRoute, Bella Union and Post & Beam labels. These wines can be found at fine dining establishments, many stores nationwide, through their wine club and of course, locally via their tasting room and they are known for their consistency while being excellent representations of their AVAs as well as allowing the nuances of various vintages to shine through.

Listen to hear the three of us geek out on cool climate wines (he gives some suggestions of Wines To Find that we are on the hunt for!),  Michael's kind words about his mentor and his love of Anderson Valley, as well as a fun connection he has to a previous WTF guest & more.
