Sexualität, Erziehung und Prävention

'So heute setzen wir uns Mal hin - ich als Mutter mit meiner Tochter / ich als Vater mit meinem Sohn - und ich erkläre dir jetzt mal was, was nur Väter ihren Söhnen erklären…’ - „so eben nicht.“, meint Claudia Vantroyen. Sie lebt in Bonn, hat Sozialpädagogik studiert und ist seit 20 Jahren in der offenen Kinder- und Jugendarbeit tätig. Daneben hat sie sich spezialisiert - so zum Beispiel mit einer Pastoralen Ausbildung, einer Weiterbildung zur „Fachpädagogin für Psychotraumatologie“ sowie einer Weiterbildung zur „Fachkraft für Prävention und Intervention bei sexuellem Missbrauch“. Mit ihr geht es in dieser Podcast-Folge unter anderem um die Frage: Wie kann ich meinem Kind einen gesunden Umgang mit Sexualität vermitteln?

Kinder bekommen Sexualität mit und die Familie, in der das Kind aufwächst, spielt dabei eine wichtige Rolle. Sie ist der Ort, an dem es in ganz vielen Bereichen seines Lebens geprägt wird. Und dabei ist es egal, ob Eltern das bewusst oder ohne Nachzudenken machen, letztlich leben sie etwas vor und geben etwas weiter. Wie man im Alltag mit seinen Kindern Gelegenheiten nutzen kann, wie man das eigene Kind präventiv vor sexualisierter Gewalt schützen kann und welche Bücher dabei hilfreich sein können, das und mehr hörst HIER.

Schule anders gestalten

„Wer gesammelt bis in die TIEFE geht, der sieht auch die kleinen Dinge in großen Zusammenhängen.“ – ein Zitat von EDITH STEIN. Bekannt ist sie heute vor allem als Philosophin und Frauenrechtlerin mit jüdischen Wurzeln.

Nach ihr soll schon bald eine Schule benannt werden: Die Edith Stein Realschule im Landkreis Uelzen. In der Nähe von Lüneburg entsteht peu à peu diese Privatschule in freier christlicher Trägerschaft. Und die soll ein bisschen anders gestaltet sein als die meisten Schulen. Wie genau, darüber sprechen wir in dieser Podcast-Folge mit Petra Maria Rahlfs – Mitgründern der Schule und erste Vorsitzende des Fördervereins für Christliche Pädagogik und Werte. Persönliche Therapieerfahrungen - Nina

"Ich mache eine Therapie.", dieser Satz löst bei vielen heutzutage noch ein unbehagliches Gefühl aus. Dabei nehmen immer mehr Menschen diese Hilfe in Anspruch.

Nina hat sexuellen Missbrauch in der Kindheit erfahren und spricht mit Miri in dem Podcast-Projekt MOSAIK über die Auswirkungen, die diese traumatische Erfahrung auf ihr Leben hatte und teilweise immernoch hat. In dieser Folge spricht sie mit Miri über ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen mit Therapie (Traumatherapie, Seelsorge...). Kathryn Marsh is a career prosecutors specializing in child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence and other power based crimes. Together with Melissa Hoppmeyer, they are also co-founders of Right Response Consulting, an agency that provides training and in the areas of sexual assault, sexual harassment and human trafficking. Melissa Hoppmeyer is on sabbatical for season 4.

Jessica Lamb is the Founder and Executive Director of A.R.I. She is a recognized Survivor Leader and Speaker who addresses iconology & the history of human trafficking brandings. Jessica has built a national network of trauma-informed tattoo removal specialists and tattoo artists who provide services to survivors of sex trafficking, former gang members, and individuals in substance abuse & self-harm recovery.
Jessica trains medical personnel, universities, law enforcement, and communities nationally and internationally on the history and impact of human trafficking removals and cover-ups and on her lived experience. She serves on task forces, coalitions, and as survivors' voice on advisory boards. ARI's work is known nationally in the tattoo industry and in the anti-trafficking movement, as well as working in the field of mental health and recovery networks.

Jessica has created a network of shops that became Georgia's first National Safe Place sites for at-risk youth and are safe havens for those receiving services. In 2018, her team launched "Beyond Ink" which provides trauma-informed counseling, high school diplomas, life coaching, job readiness referrals, and safe housing referrals. TPP #5 | Wrestling with the Unknown with Lindsey Rice

I met Lindsey when I was serving in Youth Ministry in College. She was a very spunky, fun loving High School Student that loved Jesus. 20 years later we still gather all those folks around a campfire every Labor Day weekend and we laugh, eat s'mores and hear what God has continued to do in their lives. It is by far one of the best places to be for myself and for our family. Lindsay is passionate about sharing Jesus with our world and loving on the refugees that come into Chicagoland. However, as a child Lindsey found herself wrestling with unknown diseases in her body. Listen to her parable as she explains, "We live for a purpose that is so much greater than our own."
