Modi Government On Gay Marriage: केंद्र सरकार ने समलैंगिक विवाह को कानूनी मान्यता देने की मांग का विरोध किया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दाखिल हलफनामे में केंद्र ने कहा है कि ऐसा करना भारत की सामाजिक मान्यताओं और पारिवारिक व्यवस्था के खिलाफ होगा. इसमें कई तरह की कानूनी अड़चनें भी आएंगी. इस साल 6 जनवरी को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने समलैंगिक शादी के मसले पर केंद्र को नोटिस जारी किया था. साथ ही अलग-अलग हाई कोर्ट में लंबित याचिकाओं को अपने पास ट्रांसफर करा लिया था.
