    When a Bell Rings

    When a Bell Rings

This is our homage to It's a Wonderful Life.  A ghost hunter whose life seems to be in decline learns what the world would be like without him with the help of a fallen angel and a ghost on a fateful Christmas Eve.

We have a wonderful cast of voice actors, including:
    Mezi Mulugeta as Em
    Dean Atkinson as Jack Bronson
Brandon Winget as Keith the Ghost
Shiyla Gantt as Jack's Mom, Angela
Justin Deen as Jack's Father, Ted Bronson
    Chiron Broderick as Dave
Liz Ireland as Jack's Grandmother, Nana
    Tammi Latela as Mrs. Albury
    Jaylee Thomas as Frank Jenkins
Carlos Tovar as Chris, the Bartender, and Larry Dane
    Amber Grimm as Bruce Dane
    Danielle Grimm as Teen Jack
Max Grimm as the Demon and Man
Kelley Cody-Grimm, as the Nurse and Hostess

Join us as Jack Bronson gets some divine intervention from Em, an angel who needs to help Jack so she can get back into the good graces of her "boss" with the help of Keith, the ghost.  It's a heartwarming episode with some spicy language, so it's PG-13.

Police Body Camera Breakdowns LIVE: A Insightful Exploration with Former Officer Suresh

Police Body Camera Breakdowns LIVE: A Insightful Exploration with Former Officer Suresh

This was a live recording, not the normal podcast.  You may have to watch from our YouTube to get the full value out of this episode. What happens on the other side of a cop's body camera? Join us with our friends Suresh from 221B Tactical, a former cop from New Jersey, and Deputy Banning Sweatland as we peel back the layers of law enforcement, dissecting body cam footage and exploring what really happens during routine traffic stops, high-speed chases, and encounters with non-compliant individuals. We promise, you'll gain a whole new perspective on the challenges and rewards of police work.

As we sip on our adult beverages of choice and reminisce about our own experiences as former officers, we dive into the emotional toll that comes with the territory. From the exhilaration of saving lives to the crushing weight of dealing with serious injuries, fatalities and everything in between, we share our personal stories that are as raw and real as they get. And when we're not grappling with the somber reality of our profession, we're discussing how to handle dogs in the line of duty, a topic that is as complex as it is relevant to law enforcement.

Our conversation takes a turn towards the importance of mental well-being for officers, the media's portrayal of law enforcement, and issues of ethics in the field. With inputs from Suresh and our own experiences, we confront the sacrifices and dedication that define those in law enforcement. So, are you ready to delve into a world that's as rewarding as it is challenging? Then, this episode is for you. Tune in to gain a deeper understanding of the men and women who risk it all to keep us safe.

    Enhancing AI Diagnosis

    Enhancing AI Diagnosis
The wide range of applications for artificial intelligence alone are impressive. Researchers used mammograms of breast cancer to compare radiologists and AI assessments, to understand how AI and humans look at the images and find regions of potential concern. They learned, when you pair up human and artificial intelligence, it could mean earlier and more accurate cancer detection. Learn more at NSF’s “The Discovery Files.”

#45 Sharon Sloane on Proving the Nay Sayers Wrong, The Platinum Rule and the Excitement of the First Deal!

#45 Sharon Sloane on Proving the Nay Sayers Wrong, The Platinum Rule and the Excitement of the First Deal!

Greetings optimists – how are you all today?

I really hope you’re all feeling great!

So, do you remember the excitement of your first sale, or your first gig or your first mini success in your first job? I do, it was a Minolta Digital Camera when I worked Saturdays at Dixons in the mid 80’s. I felt like I was walking on air for the rest of the day! Do you still get excited – I know I do. Let me know in the comments about your first ever sale or success!

My guest today, Sharon Sloane, remembers her first sale – it was EPIC and funny and joyous and it will bring back memories for those of you who have hussled 24/7 to carve out your own trail and get your business off the ground.

Sharon is an innovator, a leader, a wife and a mother and I feel so privileged to have been able to spend time with her. Sharon’s a busy lady, her work has been featured on the leading TV channels in the USA, Forbes Magazine, Time magazine amongst many others plus her work has received over 80 awards. This is a lady who is at the top of her game.

So what is the conversation about, well it’s about having great parents who were great role models and gave Sharon the encouragement she needed and sound advice, it’s about the Platinum rule not the golden rule, it’s about knowing and feeling that everything will work despite setbacks.

So this is me and Sharon Sloan talking about her life. It’s a story about a kind and generous lady with a big dream, a lady who dismissed the nay sayers and has since built a business that she is rightly proud of.

This is a conversation filled to the brim with lovely stories, warmth and insight. It’s a story of determination, passion and the ability to grind out the results that’s needed despite difficult situations.

But ultimately this is a conversation about a lady whose work is literally saving peoples lives.

Please do reach out to Sharon and connect, she is awesome!
Linked In and you can see what her company does at Will Interactive

I appreciate the love everyone, thanks for listening and supporting the show. Don't forget to like, share and comment when you see the posts on all the socials.
    Hugs
    Steve

Overcoming Adversity with Empathy with ER Doctor Cameron Meyer! 064

What an incredible interview with Dr. Cameron Meyer. Dr. Meyer is an attending physician in the emergency room at the Fairfield Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is known as "The Jack Of All Trades" by people who know him. Be he just likes to help people when they need it the most, on what is usually one of the worst days for his patients. A few years ago, he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, and was told that he had 5 years to live. But after grappling with the news, he pressed forward with more empathy for the people he serves, and is doing very well! He is such a kind and caring person, and we are so grateful to him, and all the healthcare workers out there helping us all when we need it the most!
