Philippians - God's Purposes Bigger than Circumstances - PDF
Sunday, December 3, 2023 – Today’s message is the 5th in our study on Paul’s letter to the Philippians, titled “God’s Purposes Bigger than Circumstances.” Paul shows us how to live above the circumstances of life by knowing his purpose in them and recognizing that God will complete what He wants accomplished. As a result, Paul can make some bold statements, like; “To live is gain, but to die is Christ,” even while being torn between the desire to depart from his earthly situation or to go on living, which he understands will require a commitment to be a fruitful laborer for Christ. By having that level of committed faith, he can be free from the fear of living and dying and be joyful and productive independent of his life circumstances. There is much for us to learn from Paul. Worship and study with us.
