It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.. So Why Am I So LONELY? - Audio
Loneliness… Christmas music, Christmas decorations, food, cake, presents, etc...If this is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, then why are people so... As we begin a new series that asks this question, today we cover the topic of loneliness. In this lesson, Pastor Ben uses Psalm 42 to give us examples of why people struggle with loneliness. Here are some key points to look at during our study: 1. Recognize that you're in a battle 2. Stop listening to yourself 3. Start talking to yourself 4. Go directly to God Loneliness comes from a lack of close personal relationships in our lives. When we connect and develop a relationship with Jesus, that's when we understand who God is in our lives; we see changes and growth that only He can provide. That's also when we see our relationships with others flourish. Are you connected to Jesus? Do you have a relationship with Him?

For some it follows tragedy, for others it is seasonal, and still for others it is a daily struggle. Depression is like walking in the dark while not knowing where the light is or if it will come back on. This series of sermons will not make the darkness go away, but will illuminate with the glow of God’s comforting assurances.
