The reality of Christ’s victory and Satan’s defeat gives us resolve to give ourselves to the worship of God, fighting against the sin we are saved from and proclaiming His truth to the nations.

Revelation 20:1-15

Tonight Sam continued in our series "The Revelation to John" a study through the book of Revelation taking us through chapters 19 & 20.

“King of Kings” They call him the “King of Kings” and “Son of God.” Worshippers hail him their “Lord and Savior.” Messengers herald the good news of his ascension. His reign promises global peace and prosperity. In his decree reside the power of life and death. His kingdom is said to be eternal. His name is Caesar Domitian. But the Church calls him Christ Jesus. Two kings; two kingdoms. Caesar will not allow it. Revelation examines this tension with visions altering between monsters and men, worship and war, prophets and prostitutes. But when the dust settles, only one remains the true King of Kings. — Pastor Brandon

This is one of the more difficult areas to get our heads around, but it is in scripture so we will look at it. The truth is that much of scripture is yet to be fulfilled, and many prophets described a temple and a city that is detailed and literal, but yet to come.
