Soul Care | Rejection, Approval & Reconciliation Through Christ

Soul Care | Rejection, Approval & Reconciliation Through Christ
Ever person on the planet wants to be accepted and loved. And every one of us has felt the sting of rejection. You might think that taking a few knocks of rejection would create humility, but it actually does the opposite, making us more self-focused. The gospel medicine for the approval lie is reconciliation. In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches from Romans 5:6-11 on reconciliation through Christ.

Psalm 106 [Historical - Prone To Wander (Part 3)] [Rod Ohmes] - Audio

Psalm 106 [Historical - Prone To Wander (Part 3)] [Rod Ohmes] - Audio
Story #6. from Psalm 106 is found in v.28-31– Idol Worship & Plague (see also Numbers 25). Many of the men of Israel “yoked” themselves to another nation who worshipped pagan gods and participated in feasts celebrating them. If we’re not careful, the unchecked desires of the flesh will cause us to exchange the truth of God for a lie, with terrible consequences. This – obviously – did not please the Lord, and it also righteously upset a man named Phinehas. Unlike so many in Israel at the time, Phinehas was passionate about what God was passionate about. By his actions, Phinehas reconciled the people back to God, but only for a time. Jesus reconciles His people back to God, but His reconciliation removes every sin forever.

Whichever type of person you are, Jesus brings grace to us that is enough for our past, present and future. In this episode, House Church leader Ben Cunningham teaches from Romans 5:6-11 on the grace we find in Jesus.

    Miraculous Love

    Miraculous Love
It's not uncommon for someone to say, "You're worthy of love! You deserve it!" But, are we? And why? Is there a point in which we are no longer worthy? In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches on God's Miraculous Love from Romans 5:6-11. This recording is from the Renaissance Church livestream which aired on Sept. 13th, 2020. www.ren-church.org #alloflifealltheearth

    Radical Love - Audio

    Radical Love - Audio
The Basis of our hope is the extreme love of God. We exult on the hope of the Glory of God (vs 3). The basis for this confident expectation is God’s love, poured out in our hearts, and demonstrated in the most remarkable way – when we were His enemies and the objects of His wrath, he sent His son as a sacrifice for our sin, to make us right with Himself. If He would love us as enemies with such extraordinary mercy ad kindness, imagine what he will do for us, now that we friends – at peace with Him! Truly we have much to exult in God!
