The X-Files S5E10 - Chinga (with Kurt North!)

The X-Files S5E10 - Chinga (with Kurt North!)
Welcome to CHUCKYVISION, a podcast about the horror franchise Child's Play and the main character, Chucky the Good Guy Doll.

We support the strikes affecting the cast and crew of Chucky and the rest of Hollywood and hope that the resolution is fair and satisfactory for the brave and hardworking writers and actors.

We've decided to improvise and rather than just continue our monthly specials between seasons, we've come up with an idea for a three part weekly mini-series for October. This is the second episode of our three part series looking at specific episodes of cult TV shows that feature a doll. We've got on our We Made This friend Kurt North (The X-Cast, Shipwrecked & Comatose) to look at The X-Files S5E10 - Chinga which features a little girl's supernatural doll Chinga.

Howard Gordon (24 Showrunner, The X-Files, Homeland) - "What Is This Thing? Can We Really Do It?"
It is an honor and a thrill to welcome 24 Showrunner, Author and Writer Howard Gordon to the podcast! Justin has known Howard for years, and I've always been a fan of his work, which includes The X-Files, Homeland, Tyrant and Awake, a personal favorite. He is a firm believer in what he calls "the Pulse of 24", and coincidentally, so are we.

Howard is an open book about the origins of 24 and the actor who almost played Jack Bauer , how he became a 3rd partner on the project and even lets us speak to Jeffrey Glaser, an early champion of the show during his time at Fox TV!

We are humbled that he took the time to hang out with us and share some amazing insights into the past, present and future of Jack Bauer and 24.

Look for Howard Gordon here: http://howardmgordon.com/

In addition, they talk about the value of A/B testing; and three key challenges that school marketers must address. 89 - What if I could fly over traffic?

89 - What if I could fly over traffic?

Haven’t we all wondered this? Hasn’t everyone in What If World… but wait… most of them can already fly. No way this could be a disaster, unless of course Cthunkle gets involved. He does? Oh forget it.

Lessons include: if everyone refuses to wait their turn, then nobody gets a turn! Patience can be trying, but it can also be an opportunity to entertain yourself in a creative way, or to meet someone new.

    145: effective event marketing
