Join Tom Davies and Manish Agarwal in an artist interview with Kid Millions and Bobby Matador from the band that stands to be a beacon of Jagjaguwar's history - Oneida. That number jumps to three if you include the Sony Venom-Verse movies, but the once mighty MCU is down to a single cinematic release this year. Whether you've kept up with Phases 4 and 5 or not, you're probably aware that Marvel Studios seems to lack direction. Somewhere between a glut of Disney+ content and the conviction of their planned franchise villain, Kevin Feige et al. seem to have lost their way. That's why the Marvel Team has turned to us here at DT!HQ to help determine: What should be the new direction for the MCU?

What even is that title? It's just a bunch of letters? Anyway, this bonus episode is one from the Patreon vault! Last summer, we had a Summer 'O' Pilots on the DT! Premium feed. This week we celebrate the death of the Marvel Universe as we look at the issue which came in 45th place: Secret Wars #1 by Jonathan Hickman, Esad Ribic, Ive Svorcina and Chris Eliopoulos.

Jonathan Hickman had been writing the Avengers for years by the time he reached the first issue of this massive crossover event for Marvel, and he promptly uses the spotlight to… destroy the Marvel Universe and the Ultimate Universe at the same time. Who gets out? Who falls in the final fight? And who sits back with a nice tall glass of champagne and watches it all happen? This week our special guest is Zachary Jenkins from CXF and Battle of the Atom, who joins Matt to talk about the end of the world!
