How to deal with home inspection issues

How to deal with home inspection issues

In this week's episode we are going to talk about how to deal with home inspection issues. Home inspection issues can come up from time to time, a lot of buyers may be concerned about issues that come up but we want to put you at ease. While it is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the house and decide if it is the right house for you, there is generally a time period where you can do your due diligence and you can evaluate the house with a professional inspector. If issues are found then you can go back to the seller and negotiate so that the buyer and seller can come to an agreement. You need to make sure that any issues discovered are things you can live with or that can potentially be fixed. If the issues are something you can’t live with you may have the option to walk away. There are always options when issues arise. So check out this video for possible solutions after your home inspection. Remember if you Make Maine Your Home, you don’t have to do it alone!

Why do you need financing in place before house shopping ?

Why do you need financing in place before house shopping ?

In this week's episode we are going to talk about why it’s important to be preapproved for a mortgage before going to look at houses. When you are buying a house in a sellers market you need to be ready to roll from day one of looking. A lot of houses are selling for way over asking right now, so if you are preapproved, you will know what price range to look at in your home search. Having information on exactly what you can afford allows you to find the right home faster. We are here to connect you with the right lender for you, who can look at your financials and credit so that when you put an offer in you can show that you are a strong buyer who is ready to buy! Our goal is to educate you and we work with lenders who also want to make sure you understand the entire lending process and are there to help you each step of the way. So let me know if you have any questions below and remember if you Make Maine Your Home you don’t have to do it alone!
