Do you remember where you were on 9/11/2001?
I do. I was working for an airline and we had just sent out the first flight of the day. It was a normal day, until it wasn't. You know the story.
That was 20 years ago. America has seemed to lose its way since then.
My prayer is that we will heed God's warning to Israel from 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Hoy en Buenos Días América vivimos un programa muy emotivo a propósito de que se cumplen 19 años del ataque terrorista, uno de los más grandes en la historia de la humanidad, conocidos como los ataques del 9-11.
Hoy quisimos rendir un homenaje a las personas que perdieron su vida y a los grandes héroes "los bomberos" que lucharon en esta tragedia, es por ello que tuvimos el feedback de uno de ellos, sin lugar a dudas, fue importante conversar con el teniente Jorge Luis Torres de la Unidad de Rescate 4 de Bomberos de la Ciudad de Nueva York, así como también conversar con Johann Dominguez, ex policía de Nueva York que vivió en carne propia esta 9-11 y Alberto, ex marine, como oyente participó en el programa del día de hoy.
Pero también tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar la experiencia de Max Pérez Jiménez desde Nueva York relatando qué ocurrió en la redacción un día como aquel.
Y el Dr. Mejía Torres también nos vino a hablar una parte importante de esos hechos vividos desde su propia experiencia.
La oportunidad de darle un poco de color a nuestro programa, también con la entrevista con Rafa Calderón en nuestro segmento Siempre Contigo, Alianza Contigo un evento comunitario de distribución de alimentos que ya esta por comenzar en Estados Unidos.

9/11 was a touchstone moment. It defined our country for a time, and in some ways it defines the world for Steph’s generation. In this Episode, Steph and Beth have an honest conversation about how 9/11 challenged and changed some of their perceptions, while also stirring up their patriotism. Steph reads an excerpt from her book where she talks about what it was like to have a brother in the Air Force, deployed to Afghanistan in the wake of the 9/11 attack. Together they wonder if they’ve talked about 9/11 enough and they consider what they could say. They even delve into the question: Did God make the 9/11 attack happen?

Remembering 9/11
Mary looked down the street and saw all the debris coming her way after the first tower fell. Then, looked back to the screen on Times Square and then back to real life. She was in disbelief. This couldn't be happening. She didn't know where to go and all the subway lines were shutdown. She just wanted to go back home and be with her mom, she just wanted to leave this tragedy that seemed so unreal, but that, was far from happening.
