This episode we talk about the women heroes of World War II, particularly in the Netherlands. Jenna tells Danielle the heroic and astoundingly brave stories of Freddie Oversteegen, Truus Oversteegen, and Hannie Schaft. They are incredible women who aided in the resistance against the Germans and their stories need to be known. Also, they are bad*ass and take down some baddies.

In the early 1980's, several women in Minneapolis, Minnesota were attacked and shortly after a hysterical man with a high-pitched voice would call confessing to the attacks however never stating his name. On August 20, 1989, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez were shot to death in their Beverly Hills home. Nearly seven years, three trials, and many thousands of hours of TV coverage later, their sons, Lyle and Erik Menendez were found guilty of their murders and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Irene Garza was an American schoolteacher and beauty queen whose death was the investigated for several decades. She was last seen alive on April 16, 1960, when she went to confession at a church in  McCallen, Texas. She was reported missing the following morning. In 1997, Cary Stayner was a handyman at the Cedar Lodge motel in El Portal, California, just outside the Highway 140 entrance to Yosemite National Park.  He was convicted of the murders of four women in 1999, Carole Sund, Julie Sund, Silvina Pelosso, and Joie Armstrong.  Cary was sentenced to death and is still on death row at San Quentin State Prison in California.

Charles Raymond Starkweather was an infamous American spree killer who victimized eleven people in Nebraska and Wyoming between December 1957 and January 1958, when he was  only nineteen years old. To make matters worse, his 14 year old girlfriend Caril Ann Fugate accompanied him for most of the spree.

Wayne Adam Ford was a former long-haul truck driver who murdered four women from 1997 to 1998.  When he turned himself into the Humboldt County Sheriff Department in Eureka, California, he had a woman's breast in a bag in his coat pocket.  He was found guilty of four counts of first-degree murder on June 27th, 2006 and was sentenced to death in August of 2006.
