What if I told you that the world's smallest troublemaker lives within you? (You gasping..."Say what...?") James tells the Lord of Glory is impartial. He loves the world. He died for any person of any race, condition, status, or nationality. The Bible shows people of faith are from every walk of life. So how can we treat some individuals with preference over others? Are we sure that we have the heart of God for all people we meet?

In today’s passage James teaches us that we in the church are to learn the culture of heaven, and to live in accordance with the laws of our King. As such, behaviors that may be acceptable in the eyes of the culture around us but are nonetheless antithetical to the Gospel, must be eschewed.
