If anything is certain, it’s that Jelly has a really odd nickname. He also has some pretty specific ideas about how others should refer to him, so he and Russell discuss the origin of their online handles, the names they prefer other people call them by, and why Jelly should have taken his wife’s name when he got married.

Sure, Apple now have a $10,000 watch which is made out of a special gold, but is this the beginning of an Apple which no longer produces things that we care about? Russell certainly thinks so.

Russell wants to start a podcast, but Jelly’s not sure. He doesn’t have a lot of time on his hands (worst excuse ever), but he’s at least willing to hear Russell out. Along the way, they talk Crossy Road, whether there is a limit to the cuteness of puppies, and evil laughs.

I had the pleasure of talking with Bret Mazur, aka EPIC from CRAZYTOWN recently. The band is back with a vengeance, to say the least. They have been on the road, playing shows both in the US and in Europe to crowds who were as happy to have them back as we are. Their new single 'LEMONFACE' packs the punch that we expect from CT and we can't wait for the release of a new full length album.

A note on this session....

This sess has probably got the worst sound we've ever had on NZ Pubcast - and you know that we've had some pretty bad sound in the past... this was due to a couple of factors... namely:

The pub was jammed man... it was a friday after work and they just kept coming in... and making loads of noise... bastards.

also...

Our pc is knackered... Shifty Rob's 'New' laptop doesn't seem to be able to record a session without adding its 'own' sound effects... mikes cut in and out, were on different volume levels and generally acted like a complate pain in the arse...

This is simply an explaination - not an apology. As you are well aware, we don't apolgise for anything. Except to our girl partners when they are angry at us... and anyone who threatens to sue us - yes, we don't have backbones... your point is???

Anyways - I promise that we won't be using Rob's laptop anymore for Pubcast recordings - it had its chance but enough is enough... We were almost going to bin this session but because we haven't posted in a while...
