    Episode 314: Bare "Naked Gun"

    Episode 314: Bare "Naked Gun"

Omg. "The Naked Gun" is so good. Watch it. Watch all three of them. Watch anything with Leslie Nielsen. They're all worth it. But "The Naked Gun" holds a special place in our hearts. In the same style as "Airplane," this movie nails slapstick. We pair the movie with a Chardonnay from Straight Shooter.

    Metacritic Score: 76/100

Movie Sync Notes: We streamed "The Naked Gun" on Paramount Plus. We start "The Naked Gun" 6:55 into the pod, and push play on part two 58:14 into the pod.

Copilots Review Episode 46- The Cuphead Show

Cuphead was that pretty cool game from 2017. You know the one with the hand drawn animation and jazz-y soundtrack? The one with new DLC later this year? Well it also now has an official show on Netflix. Does The Cuphead Show manage to capture the aesthetic and charm of the game? Check out this episode for the answer!

In this episode, Aaron and Fabian welcome back, Caitlin Wittlif. This time we’re not talking Dolly Parton, we’re talking birthdays...and also chest hair (lots of chest hair),  the purpose (if any) of printer calculators, and the kindest and most random of Strangers you could find to make a Perfect last minute birthday party.

    Bananas; with José María Luna!

A movie where a nerd accidentally become the leader of a revolution. Kyle tries not to trip over the slapstick. Dave heavy sighs while travelling through the republic. The Machine doesn't think there's anything problematic about this movie. José María Luna joins the conversation because he loves Gwen Stefani.

There Was a Moral in There Somewhere: Clifford

There Was a Moral in There Somewhere: Clifford

Clifford tells the story of a 10-year-old boy (played by a 40-year-old Martin Short) who stays with his uncle Martin (Charles Grodin) while his parents are on a business trip in Honolulu. It was a critical and commercial flop - Roger Ebert reported "in a screening of some 150 people, two people laughed, once apiece."

We dedicate this episode the memory of the late great Charles Grodin.

Oh shit! We're getting real weird today.  Nice Chris joins us on Matt and Daves bday to ask some insanely awkward 'Would you rather..' questions.  Here's one, would you rather listen to this episode or make a second holocaust?  Thats what I thought! Now listen to this episode or just be a nazi for the rest of your life.
