3' grezzi Ep. 194 Tutto troppo omogeneo
TRASCRIZIONE TESTO (English below)

I realised that I have a diversity problem, actually I don't like to use the word âdiversityâ because when I say diversity it means âdifferent from whatâ, different from something that is the norm, let's say that I have realised that I have a problem of variety, variety among friends. Iâve realised that there is very little variety among my friends, among the people I hang out with now that I live in Cagliari. I was used to having a very wide range of acquaintances, I myself represented a variant compared to the majority, because when you were born in Italy and live in another country that is not Italy, you are necessarily part of the ' others' and I was very comfortable being part of the 'others', also because among my friends I counted people of all genders, of all nationalities, of all colors, of all physical and mental abilities. I mean, itâs not like that I went to look for them on purpose, it happened to socialize with friends, friends of friends, at work, in short, I had an incredibly varied and variegated environment around me. Here in Cagliari, I have been thinking about it for a few days, I collect my thoughts and yet all the people I hang out with and whom I consider friends have more or less the same social background as I have, more or less the same political ideas, have roughly my same skin color, my same abilities, and this saddens me a little because I was really used to living in a more varied environment. And yet I asked myself, but why is that Cristina? You havenât changed, what is it that has changed? It is true that it is a different environment, but how is it that in five years that you have lived here you have not been able to meet people who are a little different from you? Eh, good question! Because the environments are very heterogeneous, because I don't know, as I said, I made friends at work, through friends and friends of friends, and here work, friends and friends of friends are all very, very, very, very homogeneous, because this is a still mono-cultural, mono-lingual, mono-religious, mono-everything society. I do not know what to do. Since I started thinking about it, it occupies my brain, it occupies my mind. Oh well, I'll try to think about it again and then if I can think of something we will communicate it to you in my 3 uncut minutes as I have been doing for almost 200 days.
