In this episode, Nathan Dyer shares with us a journey that included dealing with anxiety, and depression to winning the Premier League.

Nathan talks about the need to stay calm and avoid putting more pressure on yourself as a young player, dealing with anxiety, and depression, and how you can do ‘extra” to improve your performance on the pitch.

A journey full of ups and downs for the man who was ready to face anything and later became a Premier League winner and made over 300 career appearances. Nathan shares how he managed to rise through the ranks, overcoming different challenges along the way to win promotion to the Premier League, and later winning it with Leicester City.

Emma is Southampton's Player Care Manager. Emma oversees Player Care across the entire club. Emma is widely thought of as one of the best in the business. Football often gets bad press about the care of its young people. We would be the first to say more work need to be done, however football has come a long way and with great practices being implemented in Clubs up and down the country. Great practices are nothing without caring people to implement these practices. Emma certainly typifies care.
