Southbound is a Country Rock cover band, with some southern rock, Texas Blues, classic country, and some oldies sprinkled in. Hailing from Northern Illinois, the five members have come together to play fun, energetic music that is intended to get fans out of their seats and on the dance floor! Ray and Mike got their cowboys boots on and met with the whole gang.

The cavalcade of incredible Necronomicast guests continues with Episode 182 as I welcome back to the program filmmaker David Bruckner!   David’s star continues to rise in Hollywood with the incredible word of mouth surrounding his latest feature film, the (hopefully) soon to be released “The Night House” which shocked audiences at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.  I chat with David about the impact of the COVID pandemic on the movie industry, the recent work he’s done on the TV series “Creepshow , his work on “The Night House” and we take a moment or two to reminisce about the great horror movies of the 80s that we grew up on!  Let’s raise some hell with David Bruckner!

  These days, it seems like men who embrace the virtue of making money are rare. In fact, you could call them southbound pachyderm, like the ones so aptly described in this cautionary tale of vanishing species by the uniquely weird, yet eminently talented rock trio, Primus. If you want to know who really moves the world, look no further than the great capitalists, scientists, inventors and industrialists. They may be endangered species these days, but if we fight to protect them, we’ll all be saved.
