Episode 23: Raise The Roof Ft. Dane Baptiste

Episode 23: Raise The Roof Ft. Dane Baptiste
This week, Reggie Owen, Uzo and Baba are joined by comedian Dane Baptiste. WARNING; This episode is chaos. There was something in the water and somehow some current affairs were covered. From bad Jamaican accents from Little Mix and new photographer Ankit's probationary Jamaican, the "whats off limit in comedy" conversation begins. The room dives in on Gucci, Floyd mayweather, dapper dan and the fallout of the blackface sweater. At the time of recording, the Jussie Smollett story hadn't fully developed and the room discuss the case BEFORE he was arrested. The Aladdin trailer rages a debate about Will smith and how to actually pronounce Aladdin, Baba has a wearable surprise for Uzo, and Carlton from The Fresh Prince's famous dance makes the room slightly upset. It's another nutty night in the studio and somehow we remembered to press record. Enjoy, we're here all week!

Things get a little less silly as the boys get into R Kelly and the Bezos divorce but as ever, 'Shredder' and the 'Culture Corner' provide decent perspective on whats being thrown around the room.

    Episode 17: Just are.

Reg's inbox was inundated with messages requesting the same thing with him. So off the back of appearing on the brilliant Rob Moore podcast 'Disruptive Entrepreneur' This is what happened in that conversation. It's an in depth chat covering everything from becoming a mentor, self belief and self awareness to how much moisturiser Reg is wearing. Get comfy and finally get to know Reg that little bit better. This Week, Reg is in Hong Kong but joined by Owen, Uzo and Baba in London. Somehow, they've come together for an international episode where Reg is in his 'business' hotel room bed and the boys are doing an awful job of helping Owen babysit at home. Once the boys are all caught up, Reg initiates a game allowing the boys to get to know each other better in his absence. The game is two truths and a lie and the results are a mess. Enjoy, we're here all week!

    Episode 13: CanHe Weast?

    Episode 12: Bankskii and Beatrice

    Episode 12: Bankskii and Beatrice

This week, Reg, Owen, Uzo and Baba decide to get in the Halloween spirit by donning some fancy dress. Things take a turn when Uzo reveals his ‘costume’ but somehow, order is retained.

As this is the Halloween special, the decision was made to switch things up and enjoy a scary movie with you the listener, in a special ‘watch along’ while the guys deliver the commentary.

So fire up your Netflix account, hit play on cue and join in on the watch along as this weeks pod is a Halloween flavoured participation episode that works with the chosen movie, but is just as left of centre on its own.

What’s the movie, what did the guys wear? Listen now to find out. Pull up a chair, We’re here all week!

Episode 11: CORRUPTED AUDIO Ft. Mim Shaikh

Episode 11: CORRUPTED AUDIO Ft. Mim Shaikh

This weeks episode is a unique one in so many ways... FULL DISCLOSURE - This week, our audio was totally corrupted BUT, with the conversation being so strong, we were able to salvage the episode from our camcorder mics at a much lower quality. Regardless, the conversation that is episode 11 is one we're proud to share. Reg is joined by Baba A.K.A Cronus, Kevin and special guest Mim Shaikh. Mim is in the middle of arguably the biggest week of his career with his first BBC One drama and his first BBC Three documentary airing at the same time. We discuss the issues raised in the documentary 'Finding Dad', the pressures of being one of the few Pakistani faces on British screens and the importance of the relationship between father and son... And Owen Cutts leaves a voice note. We may not sound the same, but its that usual level of podcast goodness. So pull up a chair, we're here all week!

    Episode 10: Burnt Turtle

    Episode 10: Burnt Turtle

This week Reg is Joined by Owen, Uzo and Baba for quite literally a game of two halves. This episode begins in (the now familiar territory of) silliness, as Bill Cosby's hot dog bun attack and Jackson talk serve as the opener. Things take a somber turn as the subject of World Mental Health Day arises and an open discussion begins on how the entire group deal with their own personal battles. Apologies in advance for the singing... There's copious amounts of auto tune used, so at least you can't complain about the key. Tell a friend, we're here all week!

Episode 9: Lipsin’ Ting Ft. Kojey Radical

Episode 9: Lipsin’ Ting Ft. Kojey Radical
This week Reg is joined by Owen and we welcome back Kevin Mcpherson AKA Clav from the Talk stew days. Special guest this week is Kojey Radical who talks through his latest project WATER and so much more. Kojey opens up on everything from seeing how gentrification has changed where he grew up in east London, to the complications of being a third culture kid and the art created as a result.

The uncomfortable but essential conversation of juggling creative integrity while finding commercial success, mental health in men and everything in between gets unpacked this week.

Plus Owen might just debut his freestyle spoken word poetry slam bars. Pull up a chair, we’re here ALLLLLLL week!

Episode 8: Entry level Avirex Ft. Spoony

Episode 8: Entry level Avirex Ft. Spoony

This week Reg is joined by Owen, Cronos A.K.A Baba & UKG legend Spoony of the Dreem Teem. As teenagers, the boys grew up as fans of the scene and did everything they could to be involved. From sharing decks, to school survival as a teenager, the conversation (as usual) spins out throughout. Spoony explains how his area influenced his love of DJing and drops so many gems about the early days of Ayia Napa and UKG full stop. Enjoy! We're here all week!
