    75. LinkedIn Growth Secrets: A Masterclass On Accelerating Your Business Using The LinkedIn Authority Writing System™

As the state of social media is getting more complex, the stakes for having a strong brand presence are higher, and trying to reach the decision-maker is even more challenging. How do B2B and agency-centric brands – and the social media managers behind them – create content that breaks through within the LinkedIn platform ecosystem that also converts into tangible ROI?

Regardless of what industry you are in, what product or service you sell, or whom you serve, all brands are now de facto media publishers. It’s not enough to simply “target specific titles, company sizes, revenue, and geo-locations” and create and schedule content to just run and think that basic Linkedin strategy alone will drive new inquiries, mentions, comments, and conversations that matter.

In this "masterclass-themed" episode, I breakdown

Episode 158 - Social Media with Gerard Murnaghan

Episode 158 - Social Media with Gerard Murnaghan

This week's episode is all about social media. I'm joined by Gerard Murnaghan, General Manager & Vice President of Sprout Social, a business that offers a suite of social media solutions that supports organisations and agencies in extending their reach, amplifying their brands and creating real connections with their audiences.

Social media channels are now essential to a businesses digital profile. The pandemic has fuelled the online presence of businesses, causing everyone to adapt so they would be left behind.

We go on to speak about there being a lack of appreciation for how much effort that goes into it and the perception of finding the job done faster and at a cheaper price. Time is a key element when it comes to content creation as this gives you the opportunity to get creative.

Think outside the box and create authentic content that resonates with your audience. This is what will set you aside from your competitors generic content.

Your audience will know if you're not putting any effort into your social media. It will come across to them that you as a business don't care. When they get this impression they will be more likely to shop around.

If you really want to make it a success you should be putting as much attention, awareness, results and money as you can.

Stay safe and enjoy the episode.

    About Tent Talks

Chicago Camps hosts irregularly scheduled Tent Talks with people from all across the User Experience Design community, and beyond. Who really likes limits, anyway--If it's a cool idea, we'd love to hear about it and share it!

What is a Tent Talk? That's a great question, we'd love to tell you.

Tent Talks are short-form in nature, generally lasting from 10-20 minutes (ish) in a recorded format--we like to think of them as "S'mores-sized content" because that's pretty on-brand. Tent Talks can be a presentation on a topic, a live Q&A session about the work we do, or the work around the work we do, or really just about anything--we don't want to limit ourselves, or you.

You should send along an idea or topic of your own so we can learn from you, as well! You don't have to be a published author or a professional speaker on a circuit to be good at your job, so please, put yourself forward, and let's have some fun, talk, and share your experience with others!
