Why Vox Media is going bigger into ad tech despite the skeptics

Why Vox Media is going bigger into ad tech despite the skeptics

Next in Marketing spoke to Ryan Pauley Chief Revenue Officer at Vox Media on the contradictions he's seeing in the current ad market, and why some publishers might be struggling. Ryan also talked about why he thinks brands still haven't made a decision on a cookie alternative, and why the company is leaning in on some social platforms while potentially pulling back on others.

"It's the number pain point by far"- Ad agencies aren't dying. But they are dying for more talent.

"It's the number pain point by far"- Ad agencies aren't dying. But they are dying for more talent.

Ben Winkler, SVP of Agency Strategy at TripleLift, talked to Next in Marketing about how media buying agencies have been able to shake off seemingly lethal threats such as in-housing and procurement scrutiny while reasserting their relevance. The challenge now is pulling together enough talent to service brands, while also investing enough in differentiating technology.

Musclecarist Podcast - Season 1 Replay - My History with Muscle and Performance Cars

Musclecarist Podcast - Season 1 Replay - My History with Muscle and Performance Cars

In this episode, I'm revisiting one of the original episodes from 2011. Episode 10 was a discussion of my history with muscle and performance cars, the creation of the podcast, and the tools I used at the time. Since then, there have been some updates to the hardware, but I'm still relying on Apple products for the final recordings

I'm currently using the following tools:
    Garageband (iMac/Macbook)
    Zoom H8 recorder
Blue Yeti USB microphone (connected to iMac)
Samson Q2U microphones, using both XLR and USB with the H8 and iMac
    Yamaha headphones (don't know model)

    The Vagus Nerve Connection

    The Vagus Nerve Connection

This week Kevin and Niseema talk about the Vagus Nerve, a major nerve in the body that begins at the brainstem and travels all the way through the vital organs to the sacrum.  The Vagus Nerve has been shown to have a very strong connection to how you manage stress. A weak Vagus Nerve is a major indicator that you have been suffering from prolonged and chronic stress.

Niseema introduces a powerful tool for healing and balancing the Vagus Nerve called The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP).  SSP delivers a passive stimulation of the Vagus Nerve to help increase its capacity to regulate the "fight or flight'' part of our nervous system, which contributes to symptoms of anxiety and PTSD, and access feelings of safety and connection.
