The Minnesota Timberwolves played their first summer league game on Monday as they faced off against the San Antonio Spurs’ summer squad. Minnesota picked up the win in a close match, winning the contest 91-89 on an offensive putback by Nathan Knight with 15 seconds left. Host Brendan Hedtke is joined once again by Kyle Theige to go over the individual performances by Wolves players in the game, specifically Knight, Jaden McDaniels, Jaylen Nowell, and McKinley Wright IV.
Then, the pair talks about the slow free agency from the Timberwolves and what the plan might be going forward this season. Perhaps the Wolves are good with running it back? Or maybe they have something bigger up their sleeves? Time will tell, but Brendan and Kyle take the time to break it all down on this episode.
