This was such a cool conversation with a great man. Jason and I talk about the 100 flip trip, overcoming challenges as a parent of a teenager, how to manage time effectively, ultradium rhythms and how one becomes a lama.
Jason Henkel is a personal and organizational productivity expert known for his highly practical brain-based approach to multiplying meaningful output in the same number of hours worked both in work and in personal life. When asked what he does, his default answer is: “I deliver calm, deliberate and authentic productivity”. He has been called by US Navy SEAL Commander Mark McGinnis ‘The Productivity Whisperer’ and personally advises that he has the answer to finally ending the reign of the email monster and the burnout culture that has scorched the earth for long enough. Having trained executive leadership teams and organizations around the world, he’s most interested in helping people thrive in their highest priorities while finding and permanently maintaining the feeling of balance and well-being throughout the journey.

Unlike female puberty, initial signs for male puberty are more subtle. Puberty in boys generally starts later than girls, usually between 9-14 years old. Puberty is a time of growth, change and often less than pleasant symptoms.
The hormonal changes that occur during a boy’s puberty are completely normal. However, if your son is struggling with problems such as an insatiable appetite, skin issues, and mood swings, there are ways that you can help.

Beautiful little boys grow into great, big, monosyllabic, forgetful teens.
Holly and Andrew chat to Australian author Maggie Dent about how to support our boys through what can be a very challenging time for both them and us. Why don’t they want to talk to you any more? Why do they forget absolutely everything? Will they ever be your lovely little man again? Maggie has all the no-nonsense wisdom you need.
Plus, Andrew can’t decide if he had a nail or fail this week. Maybe you can be the judge... His daughter’s ‘in-laws’ came over for the first time and Daddo burnt dinner! Did he apologise for it? No… Did everyone gobble it up… also no. Nail or fail?

War. Cancer. Kidnapping. Terrorism. Pandemic. Our world is scary and unsure at best. The ongoing list of fears can be never-ending, and with the rates of childhood anxiety increasing rapidly, its proof that our kids are not immune to fear either. In this episode, Alice hears from a parent whose child is struggling with the fear of death following Kobe Bryant’s passing. She discusses the mindset of a fearful child and their natural tendency to avoid talking about it, which unfortunately leads to additional fear and anxiety. Alice provides practical advice on approaching difficult circumstances with a child, as well as how to convey the peace and comfort that comes from the solid foundation of the Gospel.
