    Wild Horses At Coon Bluff

    Wild Horses At Coon Bluff

There are adventures outside every door! In this episode we had to leave the Phoenix property for a couple of days, so we wandered on over to Mesa, AZ to hunt for wild horses...and camp for free. We were so close to the Phoenix metro area, yet it felt like a world away!

What's outside YOUR door? Do I need to visit and go on an adventure there too?

Practical Prepping Podcast, Episode #229, "HAM Radio, Tent Camping, And Practicing Our Prepping Skills."

In this episode, we share with you how we spent our weekend. We tent camped in the Talladega National Forest, on the Pinhote Trail, and worked ham radio for the Yellowhammer Endurance Horse ride. We also practiced some of our prepping skills, particularly alternative cooking, alternative lighting, and certainly communications skills. Krista practiced waste management skills and explains that in detail. We learned a lot, especially things that will have us even more prepared.
