Haunted Texas TV Episode 3: Goliad

From 2010-2011, HTAB host and creator Jeanine Plumer, along with Chris Blankenship with ProductionFor and Matthew Wallen of Matthew Wallen Films, created this episode for the public television series Haunted Texas, that originally aired as part of The Save Texas History Program for KLRU-PBS Austin.  The three-part series was so well received it aired nationally on PBS.  This is Episode 3 of the Haunted Texas TV series entitled Goliad.  During the Texas Revolution, the events that took place at Goliad were particularly brutal.  This episode touches on the history, mystery, and ghosts of the massacre at Goliad.

Who is the Headless Horseman of South Texas?

Who is the Headless Horseman of South Texas?

You may have heard about the Headless Horseman from the fictional story of Sleepy Hollow, but in South Texas there was a real headless horseman that roamed the land striking fear in all those that came across his horses' path.

They say his spirit still roams the land and seeing him will bring misfortune to any in his way.  For this short episode we take a look at the real events that led to the creation of the headless horseman of South Texas.
