I talk with Jeff Brown, preacher for the Woodmont Hills Church in Nashville, about "Project 245" which had at its heart Acts 2:45 - "and [believers] sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need." (NKJV)  This project was formed during the early days of the pandemic.  People would donate their stimulus checks and other funds to the project, and then the church would give the money to people in crisis.

Paul challenges the Corinthians to only boast of and in the Lord. Then, he must defend his apostolic authority and asks the Corinthians to indulge him as he does so.
