Andras Jones & Bryan Connolly host the 1st annual NOSCAR AWARDS where we celebrate the films that got no Oscar love and some that got Razzie hate with special guests ZACK CARLSON, SKINNER MYERS, JEN BROWN, AJ GONZALEZ & NIGEL FULLERTON sharing their nonminations for the best in cinema in 2020.
NOSCARS: Rules of Inclusion
1. If a movie is nominated for an Oscar it does not qualify for a NOSCAR. All other movies are eligible.
2. We count Made for TV movies, mini-series and TV shows. We watched all of this on TV last year anyways. Why differentiate?.
3. Films and film artists nominated for Razzies receive special positive attention on behalf of cinema.
4. The titles nominated have to have been released between Jan 1, 2020 and March 1, 2021.

This week, we call Aaron Sorkin to the stand for his latest film The Trial of the Chicago 7, which is now on Netflix and stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, Mark Rylance, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and many more. We also find some time for love, or Love and Monsters to be specific, which stars Dylan O'Brien and Jessica Henwick. We discuss Spike Lee's concert film, David Byrne's American Utopia, which is now on HBO Max. Plus Spontaneous, a high school "sci fi black comedy" starring Katherine Langford and Charlie Plummer. And finally, The Kid Detective, a dark comedy starring Adam Brody and Sophie Nélisse.
