    DDG Episode 205

It’s the week before Christmas and just when you think the industry has gone in to slumber, chaos emerges. It’s a tough week for leaks and hacks with Rocksteady and Insomniac Games forced to confirm that stuff in the wild is true and to keep away from spoilers if you can.

Don’t worry though, we keep things spoiler free and only discuss the ramifications these leaks and hacks will have on the future of these studios.

In other news, Naughty Dog have cancelled The Last of Us live service game and there’s so much to unpack from that announcement.

In Playing and Watching, we change things up and discuss Fortnite and The Finals.

This week, MJC is joined by Chris Penwell to review AEW Fight Forever and Crash Team Rumble!

But before we jump into the reviews and everything else we are playing, we go over the news. Including, Valve removing games with A.I. art, sharpie-induced leaks from the FTC case against Microsoft and a bad game that killed a development studio.

78: The Last of Us Part II (with Flora Merigold - Epilogue Gaming, Left Behind Game Club)
The Last of Us Part II, by Naughty Dog is one of the most polarizing video games ever made. The sequel to a wildly successful, and some would say "complete", video game was bound to leave some feeling left behind, but this game quickly joined The Discourse....and I didn't hear any of it. So I came to this relatively fresh, and invited on Flora Merigold from Epilogue Gaming (https://epiloguegaming.com/) and Left Behind Game Club (https://leftbehindgame.club) to discuss! Find out how we felt about this landmark, yet controversial game. Ist es die Möglichkeit? Ist "Last of us" die beste Videospieladaption?
The Last of us ist eines der besten Videospiele aller Zeiten! Also reinhören!

    Game Of The Year 2020

    Game Of The Year 2020
The year 2020 was another banner 12 months for the world’s most popular entertainment past time. With so many stuck at home, and an old generation going out with a bang, there was no shortage of great titles. Thankfully, the year saw hits across multiple genres. A laid back chore simulator, an RPG remake of epic proportions, the battle royal for everyone, and the sequel to an instant classic, gamers were spoiled for choice across the board. With so many stand out titles, it was no easy task to sift through what we saw as our best experiences of the year. But fear not, we each have a list of our five favorite games of the year and also one honorable mention. So sit back and let's take one more look back at the year that was, and break down each of our Game Of The Year contenders for 2020. Music: Electric Mantis - Daybreak https://youtu.be/Lz68DccWZ4U
