Irreversible. Dan got into Hanake. Dan watches films 15 minutes at a time. The boys both like one David Lynch film. Gil hates Eraserhead, Possession, Nosferatu, and 90's alt-metal. Dan hates the new A Perfect Circle album. Dracula (1931) is the quintessential horror film, and Lugosi is the only Dracula. Foreign thrillers are superior.

The Witch: William and Thomasin face off in the garden. Who is the witch? William has had it with these kids.

    Top 5 Most Suspenseful Movies

In honor of the release of A Quiet Place, the ATAIG crew got together to count down their top 5 most suspenseful movies! It's a very broad, personal, and subjective topic, so our lists ended up being very diverse and indicative of our own sensibilities. There are plenty of obvious choices, but there are also plenty of surprising revelations along the way...

Question for you: What movies did you find to be the most suspenseful? Also, what tends to get under your skin when it comes to suspense in general?

53 - 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Witch, The Daughter, A Bigger Splash, Man Up

As Dave from Pop Culture Case Study would say... Oh boy.

We quickly go off the rails on this one when we discuss the mystery box extravangza that is Bad Robot's 10 Cloverfield Lane. Be aware people, we jump right into spoilers on this one. We then move into more less heated territory when we talk about the latest 'horror' film, The Witch, or if you're a fan of the letter V, The VVitch. We then move onto the Henrik Ibsen inspired Australian film The Daughter. Finally, things start looking up for Bernadette as we move into the Ralph Fiennes acting bonanza that is A Bigger Splash. Finally, we look at a film that Bernadette has seen and discussed before, the Simon Pegg and Lake Bell rom-com Man Up. We then go into ten minutes of profanities before closing with Alex Lloyd's Lucky Star after Bernadette throws in the towel.
