    Is That You Rona?

    Is That You Rona?

In the event of the Conorona Virus pandemic, I unfortunately was not able to really able to find too many current events that I cared too discuss about. However, for "Topic of Discussion", I asked this question, how do you know if you are ready for a relationship? Tune in to see what I had to say. To everybody out there, please be safe and wash and sanitize your hands and practice social distancing.

    Tik Tok and Toilet Paper

    Tik Tok and Toilet Paper

On this episode of TMWYK, we’re trying our best not to be cranky olds while talking about the Gen Z’ers and their newfangled TikTok Technology. Vine can never be replaced, IMO, but TikTok is doing its best to fill that void. You’ll be shocked to learn how much some 17 year old from Pennsylvania can earn just by recording a 15-second video clip to their phone.

And then, we’re freshening up and talking toilet paper and bidets. This taboo subject is something we all have opinions on. 2-ply, 4 ply, mega rolls, ultra soft, babies and bears. We all know the marketing that gets us to fork over on average $120 every year to make sure we’re clean. For those who haven’t used a bidet to send a nice warm stream of water down their backside, I highly recommend it. The rest of the world can’t be wrong unless their sole source of information is Tell Me What You Know.

Why do we hoard toilet paper during a crisis?

Why do we hoard toilet paper during a crisis?

At the first hint of crisis, we run out and stock up on toilet roll. Is it because toilet paper has become a vital part of our modern - softer, more squeamish - civilization? Only a few generations ago all kinds of paper - and materials - were used to wipe our behinds. Our Reader in Scatalogical Studies has a unique and amusing perspective on the phenomenon.

Inequality in the Age of Pandemic with D. Watkins
Life in this pandemic is far from equal for all. While big banks and cruise ships got bailed out quickly the average American. And like most things the racial divide reveals itself in times of struggle. My guest on this topic is New York Times bestselling author and educator, D. Watkins who helps give me a broader view of the world we live in.

#012 - COVID-19, Coronavirus: To Fear or Not To Fear?

#012 - COVID-19, Coronavirus: To Fear or Not To Fear?

In just a short time, lives around the world have been changed drastically as a result of COVID-19, or Coronavirus. In the U.S., schools are closed, the stock market had record losses, countless employees are either working from home or told not to report to work, groceries have been stripped from the shelves, and transportation is coming to a halt. Even churches are closing their doors on Sunday and opting for live-streaming services.

We are quickly reminded that the things we thought were secure just days ago are now ever-changing. Our normal lives are now anxiety-ridden and fear is around every corner. What is coming and what should we do about it?

I've been reading and watching online advice from some of my favorite pastors, Rick Warren, Max Lucado, and Greg Laurie.  They have given some great insight into our dilemma and I wanted to share a recap with you all to provide some encouragement and hope.

If you find this helpful in any way, would you do me a favor and share it with those you love?  Let's pray that God will bring a quick end to this situation.  Thank you!

Eat! Drink! Smoke! - Episode 75 - Out Of The Self-Quarantine, But Coronavirus Has Gotten Worse...Except For Those Who Won't Let A Crisis Go To Waste

Eat! Drink! Smoke! - Episode 75 - Out Of The Self-Quarantine, But Coronavirus Has Gotten Worse...Except For Those Who Won't Let A Crisis Go To Waste
Eat! Drink! Smoke! hosts Tony Katz (http://facebook.com/tonykatzradio) wasn't in a quarantine. Co-Host Fingers Malloy (http://fingersmalloy.com) was in a self-imposed quarantine. Neither one of them had or ahs coronavirus. But after a week of working from home and staying away from work, they both know that the virus is spreading, and the panic is unnecessary. But what's worse than the panic is desire of elected officials to use the crisis to achieve their ideological agenda. Forget your politics: Why is an Illinois mayor using coronavirus as a way to stop gun sales? The Eat! Drink! Smoke! (http://facebook.com/eatdrinksmoke) podcast is presented by Fanimation.com (http://fanimation.com). They review the Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey and the Litto Gomez No. 7 cigar. Eat! Drink! Smoke! is recorded live at Blend Bar Cigar (http://blendbarcigar.com) in Indianapolis, IN.

    Contagious behaviour

    Contagious behaviour

We all know that certain diseases are contagious, but sometimes behaviour is contagious as well. We take a look at some historical examples—such as the Tanganyika laughter epidemic of 1962, and the 1518 case of uncontrollable dancing—and we consider what might drive copycat crimes. There's also the possibility of suicide contagion.

Trigger warning: this episode touches on the subject of suicide, please take care while listening.

    Episode 30 - Coronavirus

    Episode 30 - Coronavirus
On this episode the Crawford Roundtable looks at the worldwide response to the Coronavirus. Is the media creating hysteria and panic about the growing number of worldwide cases of the virus? Is President Trump's handling of the so called, "crisis" creating more fear? How is the response to the spread of the virus affecting the stock market, the economy and the United States Presidential election? The guys also take a biblical look at how Christians should respond to the fear of spreading the virus. Where's our trust in the Lord? Is it really a good idea to cancel church services? What about the hoarding of disinfectants, hand sanitizers, toilet paper and other emergency supplies? Will there really be no fans at the NCAA March Madness tournaments? And what about Bob--should he continue with his plans to take his wife on their annual cruise?

In this one you put the volume up to hear me over the loud ass airplane noise and we find out that: there are a lot of COVID updates daily, but I’m only give you the important and or funny stuff; The stock market swings like a medieval guillotine amid a multitude of news today; Human behavior makes us buy weird stuff when we’re scared; Today’s another big Election Day, and they both need to make it count; Dolly shows us she still got it, even if you don’t wanna see it.

Eat! Drink! Smoke! - Episode 74 - We've Been Put In Self-Quarantine For Coronavirus. No...Seriously. Here's the Story...
All they did was attend the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, MD, just next door to Washington DC. Yet one attendee tested positive for coronavirus. They're both fine, but Tony Katz and Fingers Malloy still have to deal with self-quarantine. Seriously. Tony Katz hosts the Eat! Drink! Smoke! podcast, presented by Fanimation.com. Sitting on separate decks, they review the Rocky Patel 2003 Vintage Cameroon cigar, the Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour Toro cigar, Old Forester bourbon and a coffee liquor that has Fingers embarrassed about who he is as a man. Yes, they are in self-quarantine. No leaving the house for the rest of the week. They're both calm, but the panic across America is pure madness. And why are people making runs on toilet paper at Costco? Nevermind the inability to find hand sanitzer in any store! Can Americans deal with a problem without manufacturing a crisis, and without losing their minds?
