In 2018, Sony decided to release a solo Venom movie... without Spider-Man... because that makes sense, right? Despite the lack of web-head, fans of Venom were excited to see the character on screen closer resemble the character in the comic, compared to 2007's Spider-Man 3. Tom Hardy was cast as Eddie Brock, which brought even more anticipation from fans, and Michelle Williams was cast, perhaps adding a little gravitas to the picture. Fast forward and now we've gotten TWO Venom movies and a Morbius movie without Spider-Man. What do the guys think of Venom? Check it out and let us know what you think of the movie!

Was Christopher Nolan wel zo origineel bezig toen hij Inception (2010) maakte? Of had iemand het ijzersterke basisidee om in te breken in dromen toch echt bij hem geïmplementeerd? Dat is voer voor gesprek in deze jubileumaflevering van Duimpjeworstelen.
Want we hebben het gehaald! Honderd friggin' afleveringen, met ongeveer evenveel gasten en films die voorbij zijn gekomen. En om dat te vieren gaan we terug, helemaal naar het prille begin. Naar de tijd dat Duimpjeworstelen nog helemaal geen podcast was, maar een interviewreeks op een weinig gelezen filmblogje genaamd De Cinemaki.
De gast van toen, comedian, redacteur en dammer Lambert-Jan Koops, is terug om een nieuwe film kapot te maken. Althans, misschien vindt hij Inception eigenlijk helemaal niet zo verkeerd. Maar het vraagstuk over het auteurschap van de film was aanleiding voor een goede filmbabbel.
We hebben het ook over de legendarische tv-serie The A-Team, de perceptie van films als pamfletten als ze dat niet inherent zijn, en over hoe zielig het is om in je eentje naar de film te gaan. Net als host Ruud.
