We're breaking down the best moments and deeper themes of the 2010 film How to Train Your Dragon. As usual, we'll end the episode by suggesting a few questions regarding the film that you can use to engage in deeper conversations with friends and family. 

In August of 1979, the body of an unidentified woman was found in rural Utah.  Although Henry Lee Lucas claimed he killed her, the case of the toothless "Jane Doe" remains open.  Episode guests:  Rick Goroshko, whose mother Dorothy Goroshko went missing in Boston in 1975, and Angela Willoughby, a volunteer from Millard County.  Learn how you can help us solve this and other cold cases on our website.

The League find themselves on the back foot with most of their members imprisoned on an inhospitable world of ice. Thankfully, some of their still-free members have taken it upon themselves to infiltrate this prison and rescue their captive friends... but with soldiers, droids, and war machines standing between them and their goal, this will be no easy task.

Our heroes are really in the thick of things now. Fleeing deeper into Phyrexia, they meet up with another League cell for a chance to catch their breath and plan ahead. What they find is a new ally... and an unconventional way to get to the gem they're after.

Mordin teaches the team the wonders of triangulation; Nico creates a new scaly friend; Stitch is the one who throws; Dante spreads the wonders of consent to a new world; and Luna tries to make Phyrexia more handicap accessible.

In the latest match dictated by a Smash Fiction Patron, there's a dragon on the loose, and two dragon tamers in town! Well, one dragon tamer, at the very least; Berk native Hiccup Haddock literally wrote the book on how to train dragons, and has vowed to apply all his empathic Viking intuition toward bringing this new one into the fold. His rival is less of a trainer than a finder, and he's a finder less of dragons specifically than of fantastic beasts in general, but the wizarding world's own Newt Scamander is similarly determined to secure the beast within his not-terribly-secure magical briefcase. Will Hiccup find himself figuratively toothless against so powerful an opponent, or will Newt's worry-free philosophy backfire and cause him to suffer more than twice?

Featuring Kit at her angriest, MeganBob at her silliest, and the return of THE SPACE JUDGE.

In this bonus episode of Extraordinary League, we find ourselves in Phyrexia, where a young woman has been taken by the alien invaders. Should she survive, her magical powers would prove invaluable to the League's efforts to save the multiverse... but she'll have to escape from the universe's least-cuddly surgeon and find a way off this world first.
