    S4 E24: Splash

Splash is a 1984 fantasy romantic comedy directed by Ron Howard.

Splash is the story of Allen Bauer played by Tom Hanks who we first meet as an eighty year old on a boat tour at Cape Cod. He has a boat accident, falls off but encounters a young girl under the water who allows him to breathe underwater.

Years later Allen is a co-owner of a wholesale fruit and vegetable business in New York City. He owns this company with his brother Freddie played by John Candy. After Allen’s failed relationship he ends up traveling back to Cape Cod, falls off a boat and once again is rescued by a mysterious woman, played by Daryl Hannah.

Family Sunday | "Impact The Next Generation"
Do you have concerns for kids growing up today? You're not wrong if you do. This episode is a brief message by Chris Kipp entitled "Impact the Next Generation" from Deuteronomy 6:4-9. Chris challenges with 3 words: talk, treasure and touchstones. This recording is taken from Family Sunday which was held on April 30th, 2023, at Renaissance Church. At a Family Sunday all the kids are in the main worship space with the adults so we try to keep the sermon brief so that we can engage the kids in some other ways during the service. Dick Tracy and the Case of the Missing Disney Ride

Dick Tracy and the Case of the Missing Disney Ride

This week, Jasmine is joined by Damfino and Live From the Space Stage: A Halyx Story Director, Matthew Serrano, to talk about the man, the myth, the legend, Dick Tracy. From the delightfully campy film, to the E Ticket attraction that never was, we cover every aspect of this Disney/Touchstone film and its representation in the parks, including a short-lived Broadway style spectacular. Our objective is clear; we must find Dick Tracy, the forgotten Disney Princess.
