What can the archetype of Jupiter in Aries teach us about our inner teacher and our inner child? What does it mean to accept the responsibility of teaching what ourselves how to be our own advocate? How do we work with our potential? 

From December 20, 2022 to May 16, 2023, Jupiter is in Aries. To honor the halfway point of this transit, I invited my dear friend, Shahir Shukor aka. Suprasensory Shahir to discuss their thoughts and reflections on what this transit can bring for us.

Shahir is a fellow Gemini Moon and we covered a wide range of topics in this conversation. We discussed the archetype of Jupiter in Aries, its contrasts with Jupiter in Pisces (which we’ve been swimming in for some time), and how the desires of our inner youth can be our inner teachers.

We also discussed Shahir’s relationship with spirit guides and angels, how their spirituality and queerness intersects and interacts, and the bridge role that the spirit worker plays in sessions between the seen and the unseen realms.

What wisdom may we glean from cultivating relationships with difficult planets and houses? What gifts might we uncover through working with the small and quiet when our society glorifies the big and loud? In this episode, I'm joined for a very magical conversation with astrologer and dear friend, Erin Kelley. Our conversation is centered around the astrological idea of the malefics (Mars and Saturn) and the bad houses (the 6th, 8th, and 12th houses). We spoke about what these ominous-sounding concepts translate to our personal and professional astrological practice, how to deepen our relationship with forces that can feel scary to work with, and how working with them can unlock invaluable wisdom in our daily lives.
