Today's Bible verse is 2 Kings 9:34 from the King James Version.

Episode 139: Jehoshaphat, in an attempt to broker peace between him and Israel, betrothed his son Joram to Ahab’s daughter Athaliah. But because the wicked and idolatrous nature of her parents was in her, both Jehoram and the nation of Judah would be led astray. And as he, his kingdom, and his sons passed away; his wife Athaliah plotted. Determined to stay in power, she killed all of her grandchildren so that the line of David could not stand in her way. But God would not let her evil stand in the way of His promise. Jehosheba, Athaliah’s daughter, hid away one of Ahaziah’s sons in the temple to be raised by the priests and taken care of until he could become king!

You Matter " This Is How I Know" 08.29.21
Pastor Mike Mozingo brings the truth of God's Word to combat the emotions that leave us doubting God's love for His children. We can be assure He is always present and the gift of Jesus Christ as Lord brings His children freedom, life and peace. In our lives we can see the storms around us, but we can be reassured in a God who present and personal. We can fix our eyes on Jesus, we can seek Him first and trust His that He provides all that is needed to walk in freedom.

    Go & Do Likewise?

    Go & Do Likewise?

It is far too easy to miss the entire point of the story about the Good Samaritan that Jesus tells in response to a Lawyer's testing questions. When you let the author, Luke, tell his story, the Good Samaritan actually ends up meaning the opposite of what most of us have been taught!

In this episode, you'll hear Jameson unpack how we get the Good Samaritan story wrong and what it might look like to reimagine the parable within the flow of Luke's Gospel story book. This one might be a real surprise to you!

    What is a Christian?

    What is a Christian?

The term "Christian" has more definitions than the number of championships the Green Bay Packers have won. The confusion is understandable. But if there's one topic that needs crystal-clear clarity, it's this.

There are three statements, three attitudes, three heart postures we need to be true of us, if we’re going to have the assurance we are genuine Christians:
    1) "There's something wrong with me."
    2) "I can't fix this... but I know who can."
    3) "I'm not the same."
