Joe won A & E’s America’s Top Dog Show with his beautiful K9 and this is only one dimension to this beautiful soul. 

This episode, I get the honour of interviewing Joe Burns. 

His life isn’t one of normalcy. 

His mother gave birth to him in the prison system, where he was adopted right at birth. 

His extended family raised him. 

He realized years later when he met his biological dad that his birth mother was trying to abort him, with no luck. 

He became a police officer in Minnesota, which came about because of losing his adoptive parents in a fire at the age of 12. 

He is know a K9 handler in the force, winning A&E’s America’s Top Dog show, his life has had some up’s and down’s. 

We deep dive into all this and more on the topside. 
 How can you use the trauma in your life as fuel?
