Are you afraid of failure?
In Episode 2 of The Amanda Ferguson Show, I share the many things that I failed in. Often, we are afraid of failure because we view failure as a negative. We associate people that fail as failures. It is not true!
This episode will remind you that sometimes failure is God’s plan. I have failed at several ventures throughout my life. Ventures that I never truly believed in, ventures that were not built on a firm foundation, and ultimately ventures that were not in God’s plan. Without failure, I would’ve continued making the same mistakes.
I would encourage you to fail more often, fail every single day. People only see the success, but you know all the work it took behind the scenes.
I want to challenge you not to compromise your relationship with God to get rich quick. Rather make sure your business is Christ-centered and allows you to not only prosper financially but also maintain the biblical principles of your home.
Allow me to speak into your life through this episode and remind you that there’s a significant thing that God has placed in you, for you to show the world and be a blessing for his glory to be revealed.
Strategies on why failure is NOT a bad thing:
-
[4:26] Advertising a product that is not in line with who you are or what you believe in is not authentic. If you have failed with this, at least you have tried. Behind a successful person, there was a failure.
-
[8:57] Not everyone is called to be an entrepreneur. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have an additional source of income.
-
[19:33] Be prepared to put in the work. Hard work is part of the process. How bad do you want it?
-
[21:27] Remember not to follow your passion but your work ethic.
