    We wrap up the Canadian post-secondary soccer season with a recap of how the Mount Royal Cougars men's team did at USports Nationals and the SAIT Cougars women's team did at CCAA Nationals.  The University of Memphis Tigers women's team and their Calgary contingent continue to roll in the NCAA tournament.  How are Calgarians such as Victor Loturi, Dominick Zator and Caniggia Elva doing in Europe?  We provide a mid-season update.

    Mount Royal wins Canada West with Ryan Gyaki and more

    We talk a lot of university soccer this week, with the focus being Mount Royal University's historic Canada West triumph.  The Cougars are the first Calgary based team to win the title since the Dinos did in 1980.  We interview head coach Ryan Gyaki and forward David Schaefer as they discuss the final and the U Sports championship tournament this week.  The SAIT Trojans womens team is at Nationals this week and a bunch of Calgarians are involved in the NCAA women's soccer championship tournament.

     We discuss Cavalry's loss to Forge in the CanPL championship final and look ahead to the CONCACAF Champions Cup draw.   The Wheeldon Trifecta is now complete!  This week we interview Tommy Wheeldon Sr about his time in Calgary with the Storm and Blizzard and what he thinks of Cavalry FC.   There's also a lot of MRU, Dinos and SAIT playoff soccer to review.  We provide some updates from the NCAA regarding the Calgarians playing for the University of Memphis and the University of Maine.

    The Cavs are in the CanPL final this weekend and we preview the matchup vs Forge with Daan Klomp.  Just a couple hours after we recorded this interview, he won CPL Player of the Year and Defender of the Year.  We also chat with Meaghan Wiebe who has been setting goal scoring records with SAIT this year.  Five local school teams are in the playoffs this weekend and we discuss their respective playoff matches.

    This week we chat about the Cavs playoff loss against Forge and look ahead to this weekend's matchup against Pacific. We have two interviews this week. Both guests are Calgarians who have scored a lot of goals for their respective teams this year.  Anna Hauer is in her freshman year at the University of Memphis.  Recently she was ranked as the 18th best freshman player in the NCAA. We ask her about playing at the Division 1 level and why she loves going 1 v 1 against defenders.  Grace Mwasalla was having a fantastic year in League 1 Alberta with St. Albert and then with MacEwen University.  However, her season was cut short by a knee injury.  We ask her about her season and get an update on her surgery status and rehab.

    This week, we preview Cavalry FC's playoff match vs Forge FC.  We also talk about last weekend's match and trophy lift celebration.  Comments from Marco Carducci and Tommy Wheeldon Jr from the post-match press conference are included.  Other topics include SAIT, USports, and Calgary West United, who took home 2nd place at U17 Nationals last week.
