The fascination with the Canadian shop teacher continues as  Sheryl brings on two unsuspecting guests to share this story.  After the shock of this image wears off, a discussion begins on the dangers of enabling this behavior and how it actually hurts trans rights.

In today’s episode, I’m with my unapologetic friend Dom Farnan: a mom, conscious leader, and founder and CEO of DotConnect, a talent recruiting company that was recently named to the Inc. 5000. 

Like me, Dom’s been on an inner work journey. We met in 2020 at a mastermind retreat and Dom was near me in Peru during my experience with the Ayahuasca ceremonies. 

(If you haven’t listened yet, I recommend checking out the episode about my Ayahuasca experience before this one.)

Dom is also the author of a memoir coming out later this year, which chronicles her burnout, breakdown, and what she’s been learning (and unlearning!) throughout this journey. 

Our conversation delves into all this, and the turning points that led Dom to where she is now, including rediscovering her spirituality, the Ayahuasca experience, and learning to be more unapologetic about putting herself and family first.
