Feeling Unsafe? - A Question

Some are feeling unsafe in this world coming out of covid, countries at war, and other things happening.

Some feel unsafe because of what people say wanting a 'safe' place created for themselves.

So what's my question?

Well, if you find yourself in either of the two categories above I'd like to know what that unsafe feeling is for you, what it stops you from doing, and how else it affects you.

Why do I ask it?

Well,' I have my own opinions of the cause and effects and how these can be alleviated and to make my thoughts complete your input would help me get a richer picture or story to enable me to help far more specifically.

Ah, the glorious world of late 1980's horror. In Warlock, a witch hunter doing battle with the titular Warlock in colonial America follows his adversary forward in time to the 1980's in order to stop him from destroying the world.

Dragged into the middle of this mess is our protagonist, played by Lori Singer, who joins Redfearn the Witch Hunter on his quest to save the world from evil paganism - all while depending on a daily driver that's unsafe at any speed. Yep, our hero drives a Corvair.

James makes Sid pull double duty as host AND guest, as Sid has previously owned two Corvairs and can talk about the car from first hand experience.

Was this movie really bad? Was it good? What factors sabotaged it from being great? And was the Corvair all that bad?! Was it actually unsafe at any speed or was Ralph Nader just an idiot? (Actually you probably know the answer to that one).

So you heard about sun.misc.unsafe. Even if you are in certain circles you might have heard about that it was (almost) removed from Java 9. And if you were really paying attention you would've heard the cries of every major Java Framework to the news. While it didn't happen (Unsafe is still in Java 9, and possibly in Java 10+), we should dive into why is it so attractive, and creates such a divided opinion (JVM implementers want it gone. Performance nuts want it in)
