    6. VIRON with Mats Rombaut and Julian Romer : how plant-based vegan shoes could contribute to the radical change in fashion?

Mats Rombaut and Julian Tastuto Romer, founder of Viron, the Vegan shoes brand, tell us everything from the beginning to their biggest challenges as conscious designers, their messages and values, the choices they had to make in terms of materials and fabrics, etc.

A few quotes as an appetizer :

"we do feel like the world is kind of fucked up today  (...) we really don’t think sustainability should be elitist"

"I wanted  to make shoes that were 100% biodegradable that was the initial dream »

"the market is saturated but we also think we wanna change the system, we want to give an example"

" it’s not about what’s happening in 5 or 10 years and it s about taking actions now (...) and get out from the mess we're already in"

    I hope you'll enjoy this talk !
