#Menaggio #Lake Como. Definitely one of my TOP favorite towns on this alpine mountain lake in #Italy - I have visited Menaggio so many times, I've lost count. Today I am going to share why I love it, where you can stay, what you can do, and GREAT EATS! I know there are so many choices when you visit Como, but for me it is Menaggio.

Do solar panels need maintenance?

The lifespan of your solar panel installation should be at least 25 years. In case you were wondering, you do indeed need to maintain your solar panels.

The materials used to produce the panels, glass and silicon, are easily damaged by rain, snow, wind, and even insects. The panels also require cleaning on a yearly basis. Insufficient or poor cleaning of the panels could prevent them from producing as much electricity as they could.

The best way to maintain clean solar panels is to clean them with a soft brush. You might be able to clean your panels using a specific cleaning solution that your local hardware shop sells.

However, you shouldn't attempt to do it yourself. It is advisable to contact a reputable solar company. A dependable solar panel supplier will offer you maintenance tips and potential red flags. Solar panels occasionally need to be cleaned in order to keep them functioning properly.

How quickly can using solar electricity help you save money?

Solar energy equipment installation is a great way to reduce your energy expenditures and save money. However, it takes time for your original investment to be repaid. Actually, the break-even period can last up to 20 years.

The good news is that saving money is something you can do for a very long time once you start. According to one of the main solar panel manufacturers, it would take you around 10 years to recoup your initial investment. Naturally, you'll also get your money back after the first 25 years. For up to 25 years, your home can be powered by solar energy.
