Kalle Wallner is best known for his work with the German Art Rock Band RPWL (they have released 16 albums over the past 20 years) and for the hard-hitting band Blind Ego.

He also is the co-owner of "Farm Studios" and the Gentle Art of Music label which houses an interesting selection of artists.

He just released his solo album "Voices", which features 6 instrumental and 1 vocal track. We feature the track "Four" at the end of the podcast.

Our conversation provides some insight into the different ways of composing and recording for these projects and how the founding of the label came about. Kalle also talks about how the pandemic has affected the industry in Europe and their acts and how he himself and RPWL turned the pandemic into a positive. Lots of great stuff here to check out.

In der zweiten WM-Woche in Altenberg folgen auf die Zweierbob-Rennen der Frauen und Männer die Wettkämpfe im Skeleton. Also in einem mindestens genauso rasanten Rennsport. Die Athleten rasen kopfüber mit Geschwindigkeiten jenseits von 100 km/h den Eiskanal runter. In der Wintersportregion Erzgebirge kommt man in Sachen Skeleton am Namen Sartor nicht vorbei. Das ist in erster Linie der Verdienst von Diana Sartor. Die heute 49-Jährige hat am Stützpunkt in Altenberg als Athletin in den 1990er und frühen 2000er Jahren Pionierarbeit geleistet. Der Einsatz zahlte sich aus: Sartor wurde 2004 am Königsee Weltmeisterin und schrammte 2006 bei den Olympischen Spielen in Turin als Vierte knapp an einer Medaille vorbei. Bis heute setzt sie sich für den Skeletonsport im Erzgebirge ein. Im Podcast Dreierbob zur WM in Altenberg unterstützt sie Sächsische.de als Expertin. In dieser Folge spricht sie über ihre Karriere, das Leben danach und wie für sie der Leistungssport ganz ungewollt zu einem treuen Begleiter wurde.
