Tanya Pushkin is The Vow Whisperer. After her second wedding in 2019, she realized how difficult it can be for some people to express how they feel in words. Since then she has helped hundreds of couples write their vows and gain the confidence to share them aloud. As a former actress, she also coaches couples (and officiants!) on public speaking techniques and stage presence, turning what can be an incredibly intimidating moment in your ceremony into something really special.

Fluent in English and French, Tanya Pushkine was born and raised in Brussels, Belgium to an American musical conductor and German painter. She moved to the US in her early twenties to attend The Juilliard School Drama Division. Upon graduation, she was awarded the role of Mozart’s wife in Amadeus on Broadway, which was followed by recurring roles in television, stage and film throughout Europe and the US.

After a successful 10-year career, and the birth of two children, Tanya changed paths and joined the corporate world running Public Relations and Corporate Philanthropy departments for various luxury brands.

Tanya founded The Vow Whisperer following her second wedding in 2019. She currently lives in New York City.

The wedding vows are generally an intricate part of the wedding ceremony in the Western world. When those who attend the ceremony hear the vows, they may cry as the words are often touching. The groom and bride will generally shed a tear or two as well, very emotional. However, do married couples truly mean what they say when it comes to their vows? Why do many couples not stick to them? Do they even remember what they spoke that day? So many questions, but the Kings’ will try to provide possible answers. Feel free to share. Blessings. 

On this week the Kings' will dive deeper into the wedding vows, with in sickness and in health. They have discussed the previous parts of the vows, but do you think that this part is what most devalue in marriage? As they shared in previous episodes, many say that they purposely do not say the "in sickness and in health" part of the vow because they do not want the responsibility. What do you think?
