Pour ce chapitre 96, j’appelle Joanne Lecorfec qui a fondé la marque de vélos en bois Tijo. 

Depuis la parution de mon article consacrés aux vélos en bois, je vois de nouveaux artisans tenter l'aventure du vélo branché. Ma découverte récente de Tijo m'a donné envie d’en savoir plus sur le projet de Joanne, qui vient de se lancer sur ce nouveau créneau. Dans son atelier, le débat ne fera pas sur les différences de qualité entre du Columbus, du Reynolds, du Deda ou encore du Tange ..., elle vous expliquera plutôt la différence entre le frêne, le chêne et le noyer qu'elle a l'habitude de travailler pour fabriquer ses cadres. 

La jeune marque Tijo (comprenez Thibaut son compagnon et Joanne) est née d'un voyage initiatique à vélo qui a duré 14 mois. Joanne et Thibaut prennent la route en quête de la région de France où ils pourront s’installer. Joanne est de "nulle part" "Je suis née sur un bateau...", me dit-elle. L'idée de partir à vélo pour trouver le lieu de vie idéal est originale et quand en plus on trouve en chemin le projet professionnel qui va avec, c'est formidable.
