Pt.3 The Blood Covenant (The Everlasting Covenant Cut Before Time Began)

Pt.3 The Blood Covenant (The Everlasting Covenant Cut Before Time Began)

In part 3 of this series, host/teacher Rob Price unpacks a handful of mysterious New Testament verses that directly point to an event within the Godhead Trinity that happened before our own time/space history began. This event or decision was called the "everlasting covenant" and understanding it profoundly affects our view of the true Gospel.

This teaching is an attempt at open heart surgery on very Godhead Himself: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Could it be that God doesn't make make or cut covenants, but that HE IS COVENANT? What roles do each of the Trinity play within their own covenant of love?

Could this everlasting covenant explain why God permitted even the possibility of sin to enter His creation? Could it unveil why divinity IS a Trinity? Also, find out what was/is the greatest plot twist ever in the greatest narrative ever told!

Pt.2 The Blood Covenant (Killing Goliath Was Never David's Most Important Story)

Pt.2 The Blood Covenant (Killing Goliath Was Never David's Most Important Story)

In part 2 of this series, host Rob Price now moves you beyond the definition of what a covenant means (part 1) and takes you into the short Bible story that serves as a mind-blowing metaphor and beautiful illustration of the concept of a blood covenant.

It's a story about the inter-relationships between David, Jonathan and Mephibosheth...and it details how "covenant" IS the Gospel message!

"This often-missed story tucked away in the Old Testament opened my eyes as a grown adult to see what had actually transpired when I had said yes to Jesus as a young child," says Rob. "The revelation that I was included in a blood covenant before I was even born fundamentally changed how I understood the Gospel."

Pt.1 The Blood Covenant (What is a Covenant?)

Pt.1 The Blood Covenant (What is a Covenant?)

Let's just admit it: the Bible is an eclectic book.

Think about it: after the account of man's original sin and the great flood that wiped out the entire human race except for 8 people, the Scriptures seem to be filled with a handful of stories about the struggling nation of Israel, seemingly random personal narratives, passionate songs of praise, words of wisdom, hard-hitting prophecies, the four accounts of Jesus' life on earth, apostolic letters, and more allegorical prophecy.

But could there be a single overarching theme planted inside the pages of the Word? Something hidden in plain sight for the serious student of Scripture to see with fresh eyes? Is there a thread of revelation truth that weaves itself through the "entire Bible that makes the Bible make sense?"

There is....and it's summed up in one word: COVENANT. Or, if you like adjectives, then perhaps two words: BLOOD COVENANT.

This episode of Word Search launches a new Bible series by host Rob Price called The Blood Covenant that retraces the steps he's learned about the single most important revelation of the Gospel message.

In part 1, Rob begins your journey into the heart of God's unconditional love for you by breaking down in great detail a single question "What is a covenant?"

After having taught on the subject for more than 20 years in Bible studies at his local church, and after having co-authored a book with friend Jim Garlow titled The Blood Covenant, Rob is now releasing this life-changing content via podcast.

"When I first heard this teaching on covenant from Bible teacher/speaker Malcolm Smith on radio and on audio cassette back in the early 1990s, it fundamentally changed my life, and I was already a Christian!" says Rob.  Several years later, Rob began to teach the same powerful content of Biblical truth to small group Bible studies and occasionally even to entire congregations as a sermon. Today, Rob says it is his life message: "If I had but one Bible study to teach, it would be on the blood covenant!"

Pt.6 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (The Priestly Blessing)

Pt.6 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (The Priestly Blessing)

Could the secret to activating God's blessing in our lives be hidden in plain sight in the book of Numbers? Call it a prayer...or a declaration...or a prophetic word, call it whatever you want, but Numbers 6:22-27 packs a powerful punch for those who desire to walk in their assigned priestly authority over their families.

Maturing into Childhood: How to be Great in God's Kingdom is a 6-part series based on Matthew 18 where Jesus required His followers to become as little children if they desired to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and be "great" in God's eyes.

In this episode, you will hear Part 6 subtitled The Priestly Blessing: The Only Prayer Recorded by God for His People where host and Bible teacher Rob Price  shares the ancient word-pictures locked inside the original Hebrew language of Aaron's Blessing found in Numbers 6:22-27. This declaration prayer reveals a powerful portrait of the heart of our heavenly Father.

Pt.5 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (Bye-Bye Burdens: The Carefree Child)

Pt.5 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (Bye-Bye Burdens: The Carefree Child)

Is it possible to believe that we "need to have needs" in our lives in order to fully know our heavenly Father? Could our dark days simply be the shadow of God's soon coming supply?

Maturing into Childhood: How to be Great in God's Kingdom is a 6-part series based on Matthew 18 where Jesus required His followers to become as little children if they desired to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and be "great" in God's eyes.

In this episode, you will hear Part 5 subtitled Bye-Bye Burdens: The Carefree Child where host and Bible teacher Rob Price  explores the beauty of living in 100% complete trust in God the Father. He also raises the question of whether "worry" is worth the effort and what Jesus taught about the pitfalls of going through the mental gymnastics of self-induced stress.

Pt.4 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (Searching for Significance: The Loved Child)

Pt.4 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (Searching for Significance: The Loved Child)

Forget mainstream media for a minute...Do we ever tell OURSELVES fake news?

What is it about being a human being that actually gives each of us value AS HUMAN BEINGS? Could it be that positions of authority, personal appearance, social media image, possessions, and wealth are empty vessels of significance, approval and meaning?

Maturing into Childhood: How to be Great in God's Kingdom is a 6-part series based on Matthew 18 where Jesus required His followers to become as little children if they desired to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and be "great" in God's eyes.

In this episode, you will hear Part 4 subtitled Searching for Significance: The Loved Child where host and Bible teacher Rob Price reveals three ways the dangerous adult mindset can keep us chained to spiritual strongholds. They are all tied to three subtle lies about what gives us significance: 1) owning a bunch of "stuff" we release back to the world at our own death, 2) experiencing the thrills and chills of carnality, and 3) knowing the right people in order to obtain a position where you are well-known.

Pt.2 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (I'm All Grown Up Now! The Adult Attitudes That Annoyed Jesus))

Did Word Search podcast host Rob Price really just label Jesus as a 30s-something eccentric child? Find out why this strange statement may be loaded with a simple truth about the life of Jesus that we should all apply to our own lives.

Maturing into Childhood: How to be Great in God's Kingdom is a 6-part series based on Matthew 18 where Jesus required His followers to become as little children if they desired to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and be "great" in God's eyes.

In this episode, you will hear Part 2 subtitled I'm All Grown Up Now! The Adult Attitudes that Annoyed Jesus  where Rob takes listeners inside Jesus' peculiar statement about withholding revelation from the "wise and learned" and revealing it instead to "little children."

This lesson examines the deep-seated attitudes of our heart seen in the stark contrast between an arrogant, egotistical, know-it-all ADULT MINDSET vs. the humble, innocent, hungry-to-learn CHILD MINDSET.

Pt.1 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (Taking the Spiritual DNA Test: I AM Your Father!))

Pt.1 Maturing into Childhood Bible Study Series (Taking the Spiritual DNA Test: I AM Your Father!))

Did you know Jesus required His adult followers become as "little children" if they wanted to be defined as a "great" person or even to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

Bible teacher Rob Price launches the Word Search podcast with an insightful 6-part series called Maturing into Childhood: How to be Great in God's Kingdom.

Based on a passage from Matthew 18, Rob takes listeners on a journey into the lifelong process of growing backwards into the person God has designed you to become! This series asks the question "what does a child have that is lost by the time he/she becomes an adult?" Or flip it around: "what is it that we tend to pick up by the time we chronological adults that can become a spiritual wall separating us from our Heavenly Father?"

Rob unpacks the "mic drop" moment when Jesus called God "My Father" and why He taught us to do the same. These Bible studies will help listeners understand the irony of what it means to put childish ways behind us (I Corinthians 13:11) yet also be childlike in spirit (Matthew 18:1-5).

In this episode, you will hear Part 1 of this series subtitled Taking the Spiritual DNA Test: I AM Your Father!  where Rob explores a bombshell revelation that Jesus dropped onto the human race. It's the news that God's character and personality runs much deeper than what we too often see is just a lightning bolt-striking, thunder-clapping Sovereign Almighty Creator.
